Andrew Plaisier | Cello
Andrew is a member of the Grand Rapids Symphony. He attended the University of Michigan, where he earned two Master's degrees in cello performance and chamber music. His career has taken him all over MI and given him many performing opportunities, including Orchestre de la Francophonie in Montreal and the National Repertory Orchestra in Breckenridge, CO. He teaches a full studio of cello students and enjoys mountain biking, water skiing, and board gaming in his free time.
Ruth Vanden Bos | Violin & Piano
Ruth is a dedicated member of the Grand Rapids music scene. Following her bachelor's degree in violin performance, she established a private studio and started performing in chamber groups and house concerts around the state. She has collaborated with The Transiberian Orchestra, Michael W. Smith, and Amy Grant, and spent summers at prestigious international music festivals, including IMFA (Italy) and VSOI (Canada.) She has also been a wedding photographer for over 14 years and enjoys thoroughly immersing herself in the wedding world!

We can play for any part of your wedding day! Ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception. We also play for events and parties.

Our most popular packages include a violin and cello duo or a string quartet. We also offer trios (violin, cello, viola,) cello duets, and piano. We are happy to advise you on what type of group will fit your needs.

Our 2026 wedding rates start at $700 for two musicians.
Our 2027 wedding rates start at $800 for two musicians.
Rates vary according to duration/number of services (i.e. ceremony only, cocktail hour, etc.) & location/mileage.

Yes, we will happily play for indoor and outdoor weddings. If yours is outdoor, we ask that you follow our weather policy (cover must be provided in the event of rain or direct sun.)

In addition to playing for your event, we will work with you to create a meaningful setlist. For wedding ceremonies, this includes a prelude while your guests are seated, processionals, special music within the ceremony, and recessional.
