Every couple is unique.

Your wedding music should be, too.

Maybe, thanks to Bridgerton, you’re realizing just how cool Ariana Grande sounds on acoustic instruments. Maybe a Beatles hit reminds you of a loved one. Or, maybe you love classical music but are hoping for something more original than Canon in D (which we’ll happily play, by the way.)

We’re here to make your music meaningful, with an experience you and your guests will remember.

Hi! We’re Ruth & Andrew, a professional violinist and cellist based in Grand Rapids.

  • We are a classically trained musicians based in Grand Rapids with over 15 years of wedding experience. (Fun fact: we’re also a married couple who gets such a kick out of working together!)

  • We provide live string duos or quartets for weddings and events, creating a whimsical and elegant ambience for your guests. Each song we perform is tailored to your preferences.

  • Live music creates a cinematic experience that recordings cannot replicate. We've spent years practicing ways to arrange your music tastefully, blending the beginnings and ends of each piece to fit the flow of your ceremony. Also - we’re fun to watch! :) Our joy shows when we play, and for good reason… These are some of the most important songs of your life.

We get it: music might not be at the top of your to-do list. Most of wedding planning focuses on how things look.

But music evokes feeling.
